Thanks for taking a look David,the undercoat was humbrol dark brown 29 ,then painted in oils.Colours used Warm sepia, first highlight Warm sepia + Mars orange, second highlight + Naples yellow, shadows Warm sepia +Indigo. Hope this is of some help. Cheers David

Interesting. I've never tried oils on a figure but intend to some time - maybe with one of my Zulu models. I love using sepia and paynes grey for shading but have to discipline myself or I end up with something that looks like a pencil sketch! (Come to think of it, the colours you mention ring a bell - mars red, indigo - from an old article in 'Military Modelling' which I have somewhere. )
