    The tail feathers of the sakabula bird were very popular with Zulu warriors for use in their head-dress. Plenty of images on Google, I expect.

    Feathers now all painted as well as the leopard headband and the side and back pieces

    Used these refs for the spots

    Feathers woukd have been ideal but somehow just didn't look right ...but thanks for the ideas
