WIP Zouave of the Imperial Guard, Crimea, 1855

    This is from the Signature series from the talented hands of David Zabrocki, available from FeR miniatures (I have nothing to do with FeR) and it is perfectly sculpted and cast with some minute details. I have done quite a bit soo far but just the shoes and other pieces to do. Only one photo so far but will post more soon.

    Same here, I also love the ACW period but there are not alot of miniatures about now.
    Shenandoah Miniatures, a lovely brand but only some of the later ones and the sets are to die for but expensive.

    Nice zouave Bob. I think the only other French Crimean war figures I've seen have all been Chasseurs D'Afrique.

    Gra at CGS miniatures did / does one Its based on the Zouave memorial on the Pont de Alma in Paris.

    Very nice Bob, I am a big fan of the 1/16 FER busts, they are very good, might have to bite the bullet and try a full figure. Great painting on this, the colours really pop.

    Thank you very much all of you, the figure (54mm) is a joy to paint and the pose is 2nd to none. I will look at CGS but I like 54 s.
