Haven't posted anything in a while but found time to post some of progress on this resin kit from Ares Mythologic. Casting is pretty clean with minimal clean up and sealing. Laying down the flesh tones which is more challenging than male subjects. Done all in acrylics. Thanks for looking and cheers! 20150827_184437.jpg 20150907_220308.jpg 20150907_220418.jpg 20150907_220452.jpg

The start looks promising. I think you will add highlights and shades to the flesh tones.

Thanks, long way to go still. Highlights and shading on the to-do list, just basecoat so far although I have started on the face.

Yes. I can see the red tones on the face

Very nice. May I suggest exchanging the cast pole part for a brass one. it will look so much better

Been delinquent with the updates. Nearly there, just waiting on a replacement part. Not entirely satisfied with results, banner could be better. Decided to retain the staff instead of a brass rod to keep that organic wooden look. Lighting distorted so tones don't come ot well in pics. Lmk what you think!
