    Hello friends in planetfigure,

I have just received the latest release from the well known Russian company Irbis Miniatures of Alexey Lukanev (also well known for his figure paintings). It is a Mounted Figure of a Zaporozhian Cossack Otaman in 1/24th scale (75mm). It is casted in High Quality Grey Resin (29 pieces). I must say again that the only thing that you need to do is to clean the small molding blocks and go for painting. And there are no molding lines or air bubbles!!! It is again one excellent kit! The surface of this grey resin is very nice and the sculpting of Dmitriy Shevtsov and Sergey Zlobov is of a highest level! Take a look at the following photos for more information and personal evaluation. I have also included some high resolution photos of the finished model of Alexey to help with the painting. But you can find more photos in the company’s website.

What I like about Irbis, although they are going for quantity - undoubtedly they place high value on quality. This one certainly proves it.
This casting looks very very good.

If I were not stuck with my Napoleonics all year long, I would certainly go for this kind of figures.
Thanks for the review and convincing pictures.
