    Hi Gang
After seeing John Metters excellent War elephant in 1/72 scale I thought that perhaps you would like to see my 54mm version of Andreas beast that I built and painted approx 18 months ago

At the time I made notes for an article and for those of you that are interested if you click on the link you can read and follow the whole procedure

    http://www.lincolnmodelclub.co.uk/John%20N...%20Elephant.htm

Included in the article are many more pictures

I have listed a few to wet your appetite!

This was a really satifying diorama with many changes and adaptations to the "Beast" and the whole thing took approx. 4 months to build

I have a "thing" about War Elephants!!

Comments and questions of couse are welcome
    Cheers
    John (Normo)

    Fun stuff! Very dramatic scene.

I have to say, meeting your doom on the end of an elephants tusk would kinda hurt!

Wow, what a hunk of pewter! This Elephant looks magnificent, nicely done and well executed! Great idea to put the figure on the teeth!

    John,
This is great... I looked at the link... very interesting.
It looks like it was a lot of work....I am no where near
this level of painting but I really enjoy seeing the steps.

John, from what I can see from the pictures you did a good a job.

I always liked this kit but a bit too expensive for my taste.

    Cheers

    John,

Being a diorama builder/enthusiast myself, I truly appreciate the many, many hours of hard work you have put into this amazing scene. I think you've done a fantastic job of groundwork, painting of figures, and of course, the star of the show, the elephant.

    Excellent job all around!

    Cheers,

    Kyle   ;)
