I've just finished this from Young.
I had to add some "gravel" to the base to get rid of the floating feet syndrome.;)
The last photo is with the light balance corrected, to me it looks far too yellow.

Nice painting Carl, what's it look like in real life because to me the head looks a bit too small for the body? Nice to see he's not a "tanker" :D

Nicely done but I have to agree with Roger about the head. I like the tatoos

Thank for looking in. It is a funny sculpt, but I suppose everyone isn't normal.
I don't know where tanker came from, I thought it was a spelling mistake.;)

Thats nice Carl, will it be there tomorrow.
Don't know if the head is small , maybe the short jerkin creates an illusion that the top half of the body is short.
    Nice paint up.

On this side of the pond he IS a tanker. Dunno what that means over yonder. I have to admit that I am confused when someone posts a paint job and the figure itself is criticized. It would make sense if he were posting his sculpt, but he ain't. Also, as stated, people are not perfect physically. Take ten men and get 'em naked and see how much perfection you find. Curious.--

Steve, my comment wasn't a criticism, that's why I asked if it looked like that in real life, photo's can sometimes look quite different to the real thing. As for asking at all, if a sculpt doesn't look quite right who better to ask than someone who has painted it? It could save someone some money who prefer their men to have "normal" sized noggins.

No problem Steve, It was just an observation.
As for the "tanker" remark. In the British forces tankie or tanky is the term used for armoured troops but in the model world the US version, tanker seems to be the norm. Just something Carl and myself had observed and commented on earlier. You know the phrase about Brits and Americans using the same language. :)

    Nice paintwork.
For color correction I always use Photoshop. Fiddling around with the whitebalance hasn't bring me nothing.

Excellent work as always Carl. I think the photos make the head look smaller rather than the sculpt being wrong!

    Anyway nice stuff!
