    Hi everyone

My very first post here .....

After about 2 weeks steady work, finally got this one complete.

It's one that's been done by many and this is my version of the 1/10 bust by Youngs of an RAF Mk1 Spitfire Pilot 1940.

I believe it's based on a character played by Tom Hardy in the 2019 film 'Dunkirk', hence my title of the Piece 'Sortie over Dunkirk'.

    Painted in Acrylics and inks

. The plinth is by Richard Wharton at Oakwood Studios and the name plate by Nameitpjates

    Hope you like it,

    thanks for looking.

Excellent work, Ady - the leatherwork & seat harness are outstanding, & great presentation of the bust overall.

Great result and all in the space of a couple of weeks, I would say that you are certainly going in the right direction and its great to have you on board, so looking forward to seeing more of your work on PF.
Looking at the last picture I am seeing the late Great Freddie Mercury.

Very nifty piece of work........not easy at that scale. Nice subtle tones showing impressive painting skills, and
although this may be you first post, I suspect that you're not totally inexperienced at smearing paint about.
    Great job !
