WIP Update

The face and hair are now more or less complete. I'll add the five o'clock shadow and put the finishing touches to the skin tones towards the end.

I've started base coating the torso, armour and cloak. No highlighting or shading done yet.

I've spent the past couple of nights re-watching "Alexander" to ensure colour accuracy.

Hope you like my progress so far.

G'day John, thanks for your generous comments mate. I stuffed up the only construction required for this bust, by cutting too short the two resin ties that connect the leather armour shoulder pads to the torso armour. I'll replace them with very thin fuse wire.

Thanks Jason, the bronze colour is Vallejo Bronze mixed 70/30 with Dark Green. Once its been highlighted and shaded it should look much better.

WIP Update

Hi guys,

It's almost 3.30am here and after a very,very long session, I'm posting these latest pics then heading off to bed.

I've been concentrating on the shading of the cloak and armour tonight. I've also replaced the resin ties on the armour with fuse wire.

The next steps will be highlighting and blending.

I hope you like my progress so far.
