Thanks for sharing. Finally a horse. I also would like to paint a horse, but i am still strugling with a 54 mm. When i get that wright i gonna paint a horse.
I'm looking forward to see that horse coming alive.

Luca, This is gonna be another great one.

When it is 54mm can you explain how you get that highlight in the eye.
I tried it once but i got to repaint the whole eye.

I just noticed - you apply primer as you go along, right? Can you explain why? Is there an advantage to that?

Dear Dan, I use the primer umbrol n° 1, and I paint with my brush only int the part that I wanna paint, because love take in my hand the figure when I paint the particulaire ,(face, eyes, heraldry etc....), I hope you understand my bad english.take care Luca

Exceptional painting and detail on a small figure

Interesting to see the reference photo Luca has used to show the comparison between the figure and the Tomb of the Black Prince.

He is buried here in Canterbury Cathedral with various items on display along
with the tomb, and its fine sculpture adorning it. Time I popped in for another visit.
