I am not sure if this is the place for this. I am looking to the German units that were in Italy. I want to know if any of the German units had Jagdpanther early version. If you have any photos of them that would really help.

    Hi John

Unfortunately I have no firm evidence that hunting panthers were used in Italy.
I can call you but the units that got him.
These were not in Italy but to my knowledge.
"The Jagdpanther was introduced in June 1944 during the 559th and 654th, the 519th in August, October and at the 560th in November / December 1944 in the 655th heavy tank destroyer division. Also ordered the I. / PzLRgt 130 (32), the "battle group Nico" (7) and the Panzer Division "Clausewitz" (2) hunting on panthers. "

    I hope this helps

    Cheers

From the book "Panzer in Italy" img1761.jpg

"in the picture below, one of twenty-one Jagdpanzer delivered in April 1944 to III Abteilung of Panzer Regiment of the Hermann Goring Division, stationed in Tuscany at that time (the Jagdpanzer has the armor front of 60 mm)".
