    Hola Guys!

Here is the finished product. Was tons and tons of fun to do, a nice little quick project to get back into painting again. Painted in Vallejos, weathered with acrylics and pastels. The pics are a little washed out, there is some more contrast in real life. Hope you like it!

Anders, nice work. It's so rare to see that kind of dirt and grime on a figure, and after spending the weekend digging a flower bed in our front yard, I can say that one really does get that dirty after a day of hard work!

Thanks for the comments guys :)

The pastels were applied by mixing water with them, this was one of those things that just worked out great. Usually I use Mineral Spirit to mix the pastells with, however I was too lazy to reach up and get it so I just used water, something which I am happy that I did, the water makes the pastels bond really 'hard' to the surface while mineral spirits makes it reall easy to brush it off once applied. Now it is almost impossible to alter the look of the pastels after it is dry, which is good as you dont have to be super careful as you do when its 'just on there'.
