    Hello again my friends,
I just finished this magnificent bust from Young Miniatures and I want to share some photos with you.
I paint it with acrylics, except the metal parts (bullets, buttons,Tokarev etc.) which I paint them with printers inks.
For the face I make an experiment, I paint it with acrylics and above that I repaint it with oils (mostly filters), the result just adore it.
    I hope you like it.

Wonderful painting, as Carl said especially the face.

Did you just put down one acrylic base flesh color or did you put down the acrylic shadow and highlights on top of the base color before you overpainted in oil ?

    The result is remarkable !

No just an acrylic base, I paint all the face with highlights, shadows and filters and then I repaint it with oils.

This is an example of a new figure I start to paint. The face is completely painted in acrylics and now I will start adding oils above it.
When I finished this bust I will post photos.(y)

    Γειά σου Χρηστο,
    Hi Chris,
A very beautiful miniature end (bust) that the work done in the face is the benchmark in this segment.
    Congratulate!!!

Christos, this is fantastic, have this bust on my bench now and love the acrylic/oil approach as I am an oil painter trying to break into acrylics. well done. Les

I liked the color of the navy of the jacket and the tone of the face very much.
I think you have completed a figure very politely.
Indeed processing of a belt of a bullet is also Great.
    I think a wonderful masterpiece.
    I congratulate completion.
