    Dear Friends,

I present to you a WW1 german anti tank gunner in 1/16 scale made from (my favorite model company) John Smith modellbau.I think that almost the same model was also produced by Fusilier in 75mm.This is an excellent kit like all in these series with a very informative leaflet about the history and details about the uniform. He carries the Mauser 1918 T-Gewehr ,the world's first and the only in WW1 anti tank gun.
Special attention was paid on the groundwork and the weathering of the figure in order to represent the muddy fields of the western front.
Acrylics and oils were used for the figure combined with the extensive use of andrea pigments.
Any critisism or comment are more than welcome, hope you will like it.

superb work, I especialy like the variation in the wood parts such as the rifle and stick granades. Are they painted with oils?

Thank you Simon. The grenades are painted with acrylics (base) but the weathering and washes have been achieved with oils .
