    Hello All,
This is a start on a WW1 topic in 75 which is relatively new to me.However ,a lot of work has been done to get this far.
The Rifle, helmet, gasmask, bayonet ,grenades and lower half of boots were all sculpted first and then cast. This seems to make the sculping move along.I,ve also used some cast 75mm heads(own stock)to help things along too.
With a basic set of equipment cast ,I can then draw on them for other figures and poses when the time comes.
Its a bit of a one man band effort here but its challenging and fun nonetheless.
    Comments welcome.

    Hi Andy ,

Nice idea this , good to have the basic pieces ..will be very interesting to see how many "variations" come from your sculpting talent .

Are you working off any particular references ?

    Keep us posted

Very nice so far. Why are you casting the bits rather than using the originals? Is the rationale to make the piece commercial or is it to have copies for future projects? Just curious.

Hi Andy. Good Start. What is that under the gun? A really unusual magazine or only "resin"?

    Hello All,
Thanks for the comments. The idea is to cast bits for future use.
Ulrich,i have added under the rifle a Grabenmagazin, used in the trenches according to my reference.

    Hello All,
Tunic has been added with bandolier. The helmet height has been raised a little more making it look more WW1ish.
    Comments welcome.
