Basic acrilyc colours are aplied .
The figure is from John Smith modelbau .
Great ww1 figure that come in 54mm and 120 mm scale . All resin.
They are very detailed and they aquire almost no cleaning .
The scenery is always included

Prachtig, zeer goede kleuren.

This is really looking good.
Saw yesterday evening a new site from WW I with alot off pictures. The trench is so lifelike even is your painting on the figure.

Great Marc! Those WWI Figures from John Smith are the best on the market, I guess! Can´t wait to see it finished, escpecially for the base with all its mud and dirt!

The example of the uniform worn by the French tirailleurs and the zouaves during ww1 from 1916 till 1918
The light blue poilu colour is replaced by the kakhi colour .
French infantery also ended the great war in these colours.

The helmet and the head are replaced/resculpted .
