    Looks good so far Marc.
Interesting to see you are painting him wearing khaki rather than the usual horizon blue. Is it going to be foreign legion or a colonial soldier?

    Prachtig, zeer goede kleuren.

    This is really looking good.
Saw yesterday evening a new site from WW I with alot off pictures. The trench is so lifelike even is your painting on the figure.
Great work, and keep us posting.

Great Marc! Those WWI Figures from John Smith are the best on the market, I guess! Can´t wait to see it finished, escpecially for the base with all its mud and dirt!

Marc - I completely agree with your praise for Jon Smith's figures! Your conversion to a colonial is a good idea. I'm eager to see your 'moutarde khaki'!

    All the best,
    Dan

The example of the uniform worn by the French tirailleurs and the zouaves during ww1 from 1916 till 1918
The light blue poilu colour is replaced by the kakhi colour .
French infantery also ended the great war in these colours.

The helmet and the head are replaced/resculpted .

Marc - Excellent example of moutarde khaki in the reenactors' photo. I look forward to seeing your shading and final skin tone.

    All the best,
    Dan
