This is what all great large-scale dioramas do--tell a story. This is like a clip out of a movie!!! I'm a diorama NUT and am looking forward to seeing it when it's done.
This is one fabulous piece of work.

    Per Olav - I'm....speechless....WOW! :) ;)

You could probably win awards with this without even painting it! After it is painted, if you don't win lots of 'em, the contest was rigged, the judges bribed, and there ain't no justice.

    All the best,
    Dan

Any thoughts to adding another Highlander with a weapon (rifle, pistol, etc.) pointed at the downed flyers?

Thanks all for your nice feedback, I realy appreciate it :)

I'll keep you updated on the painting progress.

Matthew, I first thought of arming one of the Higlanders with a pistol in his hand but changed it because I want to show the Higlanders completely unaware of the danger behind the plane.
The story suppose to show the Higlander arriving the chrash site thinking the German airmen are long gone........they're wrong.
    Thanks.

    All the best
