    Just about finished with this Young Miniatures bust. A couple of quick touch-ups, adjust the shading and highlights in a few areas and add the name plate that is an old spent .303 shell casing...

    This is a great bust , and you've done it very nicely indeed.
    But I have mentioned this before : the steel helmets at the time of the Somme battles were apple green , not very dark green: that was the late WW2 version.

    You could alway cover it in mud...
