Wounded crusader

This composition depists a wounded crusader marksman. The scenic base - one of the narrow streets of captured Jerusalem were a great massacre took place in 1099.

Here I have two more composition variations:
the first one where all the details placed too close one to another

the second one. all the details are trying to take more space.

Help me please to choose - what is the best variant for composition.

на первой серии фотографий крестаносец расположен на верхней ступени с арбалетом в ногах. Это самое лучшая расстановка: четко виден порыв раненного человека к добыче, чувствуется рывок, жажда добычи пересиливает даже боль от полученной раны.

Кстати, я не заметил его правую руку. Отрубили или пробили стрелой?

Peronally I like the first one best, the crossbow kind of brings it all together in the middle without leaving too much empty space, maybe even point it towards the stash of loot? Nonetheless I like it!
