I would like to see a series of figures showing the dress uniforms of various military academies. Maybe famous leaders as they appeared at the very start of their careers - Lee at West Point, Nimitz at Annapolis.

Any academy would be interesting, not just the two mentioned.

Wonder how a series like that would sell?

The British Army in Full dress and undress (naughty) 1840-90. 75mm ideal. I know there are busts of this period but full figures are few and far between. Home service and foreign service too.
This is just me and probably only me who will paint these, so the chances are slim.

Would they have to be 75 mm, or is that just the ideal?

Hi Martin I am finding 54mm a bit small for my eyes now but I will paint in that scale if I love the figure. 75mm would be ideal. I have just seen Ellies mini's Scots officer 1890's. Lovely. That will be in the grey army.

I've got a series of 1890/1914 British figures in 1/32nd scale, of full dress and undress. Foot Guards and highlanders in white drill jackets etc. Mainly in drill poses but I was thinking of making more relaxed figures, I'm just not sure if there's a market. If I ever get the time, my plan is to make a cut away cavalry barracks with all the goings on. The 1/32nd are in metal but I'm also thinking making some figures in 1/16th resin.

I can't remember who the figures were produced by but I remember a set of fig's in mess dress, Chota Sahib did some in stable dress and drill order.
