    my reworked workspace

I just have a small room. I share it with the washingmachine, the dryingmachine and the Central Heating.
Only room is a desk with left 3 shelfs. The upper is filled with paint, glue, putty etc.
The second is filled with the grey army.
The third is filled with tools, sandingpaper.
At the right there are two shelfs.
The upper is from the wife, where she put drawingpaper and drawingtools.
The second is for my elektric machines such as drillingmachine, sandingmachine etc.
Up at the right on the desk is my dryingbox.

The other picture is from my showcase: self made.
It contains all the figures that i have done the last 4 years.

I like to come back to visit this thread from time to time because it's interesting to see everyone's area. Since I'm one of the many who are still in the kitchen table stage, I've seen a few ideas here today that'll make my space a bit more user friendly as well as the wife & kids more painter friendly.

    Thanks guys,
    Mike

Oh man! This is the best thread I've come across so far!

You lucky devils! I think I shall forget about hoping the kids grow up to be well educated - I'll tell them to leave soon as possible and build a career in McDonalds. That way I can hopefully get them out of the house sooner :D and have my own room!

Sigh......... Another 15 years to go......at least!

At least you guys have inspired me on what to do with my pension money on retirement :) ............again another 20 years to go ..... at least!

From the looks of your display cabinets and your magazine shelf you have been a figure painter for quite awhile. Nice collection of figures. Is it time for another cabinet?

I like the fact that most painters have an area I call "Tomb of the Unfinished figures" and keep them together as you have, probably on a bottom shelf of a cabinet.

Also good to put a face with a name......thanks for the "Mug Shot" too.

    Hi Guy,

Check out Vitalino's (Modelix) list of postings he's done in the past. Awesome collection! This guy has either got a team of elves working a production line or he doesn't sleep! In addition, I think he's able to freeze time to get that output!

BTW, absolutely love your work area. That's something I must show the wife :D

    Hi Vitalino,
Lovely collection you've built up. I've amazed that you're able to attain this level of painting in the short amount of time you spend on a figure. Me? I might do a head a week :D ! Keep 'em coming!

    Cheers
