    Hello Piotr,

    you're doing a good work.
    I'm happy to see that our work (Laurent for the sculpting and me for the painting) inspired you.

    You did a better work than us especially for the mitre cap's back. It looks more like in real.
    But I'm conviced that you'll have a better rendition with the mitre cap's front drawings if painted than sculpted. It looks too thik right now.

    Anyway thx for sharing and keep on showing us your WIP.

    Piotr - The face is awesome. It captures the malnourished look of 18th Century British - and Scottish - soldiers. The detail on the Mitre is superb.

    Hello all,

    thank you for your kind words friends!

    Arthur -> my second kid was born this spring. My boys are consuming all my free time now ;), so I don't have to many possibilities to continue our hobby... but I try to pursuit it...

    Guy -> thank you!

    tefaet, Christos, Sambaman, Excatlon ->thank you!

    Angaliel -> thank you for such nice inspiration :). I do agree that cap's front drawings would have better look, but I don't have such talent to paint it (especialy in 1/16 scale! I really admire it! :).

    SerjeantWildgoose -> wow, thank you for such compliment!

    Anders,paulyrichard -> lettering - there is no magic. I built my hobby home-made 'do-it-yourself' cnc mill and machine the mitre's front - that was the goal of making such equipment. If you are interested I can provide you with details.

    Please find the bust's outlook (pink mass is to be removed).

    Best regards,

    Piotr

    P.S. Thank you again for all comments!

    Hello!

    Sambaman -> I don't know now - we'll see how it would look when it will be finished. If it be good and you like it - I will make a few copies (but I wouldn't call it commercial release but rather 'garage-just-for-fun release' ;) ).

    paulyrichard -> thank you!

    Regards, Piotr
