    All worthy winners in the face of some stiff, high-quality opposition. The freehand on Saladin's banner is off the scale, and the texturing of the Old Cowboy's clothes is sublime, as is that face. Luca's Saracen was the stand-out for me in the Standard class.

    Congratulations to all. Unfortunately, I don't have much time to paint right now. I work for the Italian Red Cross and we are very busy with refugees fleeing the Russian-Ukrainian war. I hope this emergency ends soon.
