    Hello mate....there really is no hard and fast rule to applying pastels......brushes/cotton buds/fingers.....the choice is yours....a case of 'whatever works for you' ;)
    Have a go with any old figure you have to hand....don't limit yourself to given colours....just think 'dirty' :LOL:
    Another tip....use different grades of sandpaper when you 'grind' them....use very fine for flat effects....coarser grades to get more texture to your chosen application (y)

    Great stuff mate , personally I think this is the best of the busts from MDC , full of details and a really good sculpt as well

    Hi Del.....pleased you like him....it was a while back now....Mark (Tubby Nuts) was the one who suggested using pastels during a conversation....glad he did (y)
    If you can get one it is worth the effort....sculpting and casting were spot on ;)
