when or how to use violet (purple for face)

    Hi,
    I got a question about the color violet (acryl) purple ,how can you use this color for the face please??

    I have no idea what I can do with that,and I see it in a set for flesh colors,can someone explain me
    please,because no clue what to do ???

    I suggest you have a look at You Tube videos

    It's used in miniscle amounts to add tones so be careful

    Hopefully more talented painters will comment as well

    Yes,I see that in youtube videos ,but im not gonna do that,I just ask why they use that
    in flesh colors ,I have no idea ,so I stay away from that

    Violet and purple are very cold colors. They are very useful for the dark tones as they give a lot of depth.
    Currently Im working on this fantasy bust. For the skin I just used for the base vallejo Brown rose, for the shadows I added violet in small amounts and for the lights basic skin. IMG_20230413_232958.jpg
