I have a good friend who has just gone through a painful separation. He is fascinated with historical models, so I am going to try and paint one for his birthday.
If you were to paint a particular figure for a very special gift, what would it be and for whom?

Mary if it's a gift for a non-painter then it rather depends on whether he has a particular interest say WW1, WW2, Nap or Crimean. If so then a good 120mm from Jon Smith or Maurice Corry.
If no preference then a bust is probably a good bet as these can often be more 'ornimental'.

You can't go wrong with a hunter girl riding a panther.
