Dear Planeteers,

while the figure pair (next time there be a pair!) is sulpted, I have used the nice weather to maintain my other hobby - old sheet metal, as you know.

The most expensive one: A "Maybach" from 1936. The owner is an old friend of mine, 82 years old. In his garage he has three other "Maybachs" and about 20 old fire cars...








And - of course! - the most beautiful car...:

Martin....I did enjoy the photos; But please, could the next one at least be you either sitting in one of those fine vehicles with a figure in your hand?...or standing next to one?..Maybe that's you standing next to the car interviewing with the figures in your hand. Ah a man after my own heart

Our wedding car was a black version of the Citroen in the last picture (although I drove to it in my old A35)
Have also owned a 2Cv, a Herald and couple of Rover P6's and various old Triumphs as well as a beloved Se5a Scimitar. Currently driving around in a Volvo 240 estate which I use for work as well (Not bad for a car with 200k on the clock!)
My old driving instructor was a bit of a car buff and restored an Amphicar which he later sold to buy an old helicopter!
