Jack Hargreaves was an inspiration, an talk about Nostalgia.
I used to love Blue Peter as well - proper Blue Peter -with Noakes, Purves and Singleton. I remember they had sections on making kit for your railway layout or for your action men. I wonder actually if it were the BBC sfx department knocking things up for the programme.
