These are some shots of a native of the Northeast. He is generic on purpose so that he can represent what was happening to his culture at the end of the French and Indian War. Criticism is always welcome.
He is oil over acryl except for the breachclout which is acryl.
His hair was lengthened and a new lock was made for the musket.
    Enjoy,
    Herb

Herb, did you use real fly-tieing feathers and hair for the accents in the figures hair? looks nice.

    Jay,
I did. They are tips of Plymouth Barred Rock hackle set in the magic sculpt I used to change the hair a bit and a pinch of deer hair spun and attached with fine copper wire. The hackle is a good representation of turkey feathers. I'm not sure that I'm not cheating a bit here, but I think it maintains the illusion.

This is a top figure mate, and although it looks really good on here, I suspect the photos don't do it justice. Well done for this one mate, I really like this.

    Thanks again guys,
Much goes to PF members who have come up with paint receipts for Native Americans and have passed them on.
