Currently working on a small 1/35 vignette entitled Warhorse.

The scene depicts a WW1 horse caught in the wire in no-mans-land. Being rescued by soldiers of opposing forces with a theme of compassion and goodwill amongst all the carnage and death.

Using Masterbox horse reconfigured for the scene, and ICM WW1 figures with Hornet heads and sculpted hair, all unique converted for the vignette. The barbwire is handspun using fuse wire, the putty used is Kneadatite and magic sculpt blend 70/30.

Still a way to go, about to start the second figure painting but enjoying the process.

Excellent dio concept, great idea. You seem to have the mood of the pony down pat. Big dogs can be testy, even when you're trying to help them out. Great conversion and paint work too.

To me, this is what historical miniature work is all about. Flawlessly painted stock figures are wonderful; this is the real deal.

Small update from today, working on second German figure, need to make some corrections but getting there with the scene inspired from the film warhorse.

I of course mean no offense to those whose fabulous skill with a brush I admire so much.
