    Hi Guys

This is a repaint of the first time with this figure which I was not happy with , and the original base idea went belly up when i tried to do scenic water.
So New base idea made from Kingspan dense foam some plasticard stone work and a bit of dowel mounted on a bit of burr oak. and a chain stolen from the wife's costume jewellery horde :)
Some minor work re touching up and pistol to fit , and I might add some more shading to the front stonework joints and beds .

Looking good Ron......what you need to set it off though is some Scenic Water (y)

Nice work Ron T. That Kingspan stuff looks a treat......Might I suggest....the front portion of a rowing boat sat on the mud....or on a puddle of scenic water

Terrific paint-job Ron, and you have really nailed the groundwork. The whole thing looks fantastic. The only thing I've never been too keen on with this figure is the comedy hat though.

Great piece Ron, the base is a really nice creation on it's own without taking attention away from that brilliant figure.....a lot of character in the whole piece, well done mate.
Forget the scenic water, just a little gloss around the tide line will suffice, and I seems you may have already done that.

He's a Dandy Steve and can wear any hat he likes  , looking at his attitude I might think twice about any remarks re his attire :D
The original had the other head and tricorn with wig and I did not like it so off with his head and put on this one .:)

Actually it's nothing, just a bit of a lesson on how all sorts of factors can influence the end result of 2 part clear resin.
Me, Davie Mitchell and Ron all did a piece with solid water. We all measured it out very carefully and carried out the instructions to the letter.
Davie's worked brilliantly, mine was OK'ish but with a couple of 'soft' spots ......and Ron's! ..... 2 years later and it's probably still liquid.
As to winding up and kicking....... it's my thing :D (Iwas going to say raison d'etre but I avoid cliches like the plague ;))
