    Great start John. Those big scales can be very unforgiving when it comes to painting, but it looks like you've got it nailed. I don't recognise the figure. Who is it by?

    What a beaut! Keenly await progress.

    A casual comment: Mr Rosengrant's face sculpt is of a particular style and follows a fine tradition. Have yet to find a rendition which sheds different light (literally) to these handsome faces. Whoever does that will be the one who wows. Think Mr Ishii painting Mr Young's own busts. Interpretation makes all the differences
