    Hi Guys ,
Thanks for the comments ...the piping looks both white and gold in the pics but based on his rank though, it should be gold ...NMM when the brushes come out for me

    Oh S**T.
A spot of rework on my figure.
In every picture of reference I used I can only see the white support material.
In this painting of RSM Darren Chant, by Vivienne Francis, I can NOW see the gold piping.
    Thanks for that Pete.
    All the best

Yes, the underneath of the shoulder strap is lined with white material but the actual piping is gold. Here's another picture of the great man which may help to illustrate that. Not as many gongs in this picture though!

A painting? Are you sure? It's photorealistic.

    Hi Colin,
She is indeed a painter. Her detail and realistic result are truly unbelievable.
When you look at how she manages to replicate textures is amazing.

How amazing....(he says as he burns his brushes). I know at least one person who would say this is NOT art because it's too realistic (Wanker :p).

    Thanks Keith

Yes I know a few who would say the same Colin.
I honestly think its their inability to match this class......but then not many can.

    Hi Guys ,

Blimey that is amazing painting (cue the smell of burning brushes from corner of room!!!) .

Just another question ( oh god I hear you all cry:facepalm:) ...The epaulette leek emblem ..is it in white (which it looks like 300px-GSMBillyMotWindsorGS.png or gold wire as in officer style badge as in these pictured here on the left badges.jpg (the one of the Right is an OR's)

    Cheers for looking in

    Hi Kevin
    Sorry it's early mate.
To me it looks as though the piping on the front of the jacket runs up to the wrong side of the collar.
It may be that it is behind a pukker in the jacket at that point but it looks a little strange.
