This is how it's looking now.
I need to fill the join between the two background sections which are just roughly painted with acrylic at the moment before being overpainted with oils. There's still some bits and pieces to do on the figures yet too but it's getting there.

Brickwork around the arch looks awesome... the whole thing is really coming together.
How deep into detail will you go on the faces?

Thanks Colin. The faces are done, the whole thing looks a bit fuzzy due to my photography. The next pics I take I'll use the tripod.
