WOW finished already, and such a load of detail on the base. Now we know that it was really the speed you move at that hurt your hand LMAO.
Seriously Costas I think that this is one of your best pieces, and anyone would be proud to look at this every morning on their display shelf.

    Hi Costas

Excellent job my friend. So much detail, you could look at it for hours. Room for an SBS on dioramics here I think

Guys thanks so much for the compliments . I really adored this figure. The freedom it gives to the painter is the best advantage after the master sculpting from maurizio . Sceneries is my obsession so....i am "obliged" every time to invent something new that serces my fantasy on the specific figure.

And yes by all means get this figure..you ll get much fun !!!

    Costas,

Always inspiring the bases from you. Where do you get the ideas and the accessoires for these marvelous groundwork. What are the measurements of your bases..

Hi Mark . Ideas come from my "dirty" mind , as all times i go anywhere i record scenes and setups keepingthem in mind for some use . The acessories like cannon trailer and broken wheels are older scratched parts that stayed inn the spares box for the appropriatetime . Animals come from Andreas range . Mouse and animal cage come from Plus models . Ducks bath is scratches with balsa . Bucket is a leftover from wooden ship , as the rope also

    Base dimensions is 6 x 6 cm

Costas, the figure comes out really nice, but the whole vignette is a real trip! And all that stuff into a 6x6 base... It depends on personal taste, some people think that a so elaborated scenery could divert the main focus from the figure, but in my opinion is just the opposite, works like your are exactly what a so beauty figure needs. Bello, bello, bello.

    Luca Buongiorno amico mio.
    Thanks for your comments .
My idea on basesis this . If a figure doesnt need much as display or surrounding then we have toput them on a simple glossy wooden base. Since we decide to recreate the scene and the reality under scale , you have to do it right . So The figure will definately fit nicely in the surrounding , offering u this "trip" u talk about . So i think that good bases shows off the good figure. Bad base burries the good figure . And also good base improves the not so good figure .

P.S. I havnet forgot my obligation to you , but technical reasons i mentioned before ,is stalling us for the moment . I hope today or tommorow everything will be ok , so i can proceed !!!
