Villanovan Warrior in process

    Hello mates. This is the piece wich im working on actually. Face,helmet,beard and tunic are ath 75%. Amour and res only with fundation paint. Btw thank to SK miniatures for a fast shipping.

    Face looks great so far (maybe a touch too pink?) and I like how the beard is coming along. The bronze looks excellent!

    Hi again, some new photos. The satine in the skirt is because i use oils for dirty and are fresh yet. I hope you like the checked cloths idea. :)

    Exciting painting, beautiful flesh tones and the pattern on the clothes is fantastic. May I ask you how did you achieve such a briliant bronz effect? what is it? acryl or synthetic colour? or a printers ink? thanks for answer:)

    Robert, bronze is painted with model color acrylics, the mix is:
    Bronze 80% Glossy black 20%
    Washes with mahogany 70% glossy black 30%
    Highlights with Bronze.

    But bronze is very difficult to paint with the grey fundation, so first you have to paint bronze zones with "english uniform". And dont add too much water to the mix:eek:
