    Hey Guys,

I hope I am not boring you with updates yet!

Here is the current state of the Viking. I repainted the beard and I am more pleased with it now. I also painted the hand and started the rest of the arm. I am terrible at painting leather so any suggestions on painting leather is very welcomed!

    Hey Dani,

    Base: 984 Flat Brown

2nd Base: Golden Brown + Tad of Flat Brown

Highlights: 2nd Base + more Golden Brown until almost reached

Hi Highlights: Highlight + Sand Light until happy

Shadows were really made with the base coat, but you can increase with some washes of base + black.

    Hope this helps!

    Anders,
I gotta agree, the blonde beard and hair looks much better, and compliments the eye color, too...

Really like this piece; can't wait to see him finished...

    All the best my friend

    Thanks Guys!!!

    Alex,

I just used dilluted brown/black and red and stippled it on there, I really wasn't too sure about how I would go about it so I just did it and hoped for the best.

Anders I like the way the hands are turning out, the addition of the cuts and bruises gives it a touch of reality.
I also like the way you painted the blonde hair and beard, very convincing.

    Keep up the good work,

    Roc. :)

    Thanks Guys!

I am not sure that I have this all figured out just yet, I am still learning and trying to improve and try new things. I just wish I could paint 54's better then I can, so I will try some of that here pretty soon.

Thanks again guys, your support and enthusiasm really helps!
