    Nice work John.
    Maybe you can do something on the eyes. They looked pop-up.
    You can avoid that by a very small amount of very diluted red paint into the corners, and lower eyesocket.
    Then a highlight and a color into the black dot.

    Tremendous job that John. I'd even go as far as to say that it's among the best of the many versions of this piece that I've seen (certainly in my Top 5).

    It's all excellent, but for me the highlights are: Great texturing on the cloak, lovely freehand on the shield (relatively simple, but effective) and a beautiful finish on the leathers. Belts and the like are always my least favourite part of any project, but they can make or break the whole thing. Great work!! (y)

    @Marc I think the eyes are ok, the fotos are a bit off. I added a reddish wash in the corners of the eyes already. Look at it at the SMC 2019
