WIP Critique Vietnam war photographer

    I started to paint this beautiful bust produced by the newly formed "Life Miniatures"
    unlike the wonderful box art, I decided to bring me a bit 'more to the photographer (Larry Burrows) who inspired the piece, and then with eyes and darker hair
    It is still very wet ....
    I hope that your face will please you, even if it still has to improve in the tackle and in the eyes.

  12. Very nice work, its nice for a change to see a face that is painted to look like a Mans Man, rather than the usual over applied makeup look that so many produce these days, :).

    the palette is always used, more or less the same

    acrylic-based (meat media and red)
    oil paint (burnt umber, raw umber narurale, sienna, purple, madder lake, mars red, ocher, naples yellow light and flesh color)

    I do not think that the eyes are too big
    The sculpture is perhaps not very much like the original, but it is perfect(y)
