Beautyful diorama Jason.
congrats, I´ll waiting the next.
Just super, Jason.
Great to see the finished product Jason. This turned out excellent.
I had the chance to see this very close up along with a few other things Jason had for the show and it is very well done. I have the utmost admiration for folks that tackle such large compositions.~Gary
When we got home after the show I accidently knocked the rifle from the hand of the soldier in the foreground. He originally was carrying his rifle and stuck out off the base a little. It didn't take much for a finger swipe to snap it off. I decided to sling it this time and it actually looks better this way. Since the figure was epoxied to the base, it was a bear to re-sculpt the hand. It felt like modeling a ship in a bottle.
Yes, I'll be going Chicago. Hopefully everything gets there in one piece and comes home the same.
I've been pretty busy modeling fig's this summer just REALLY lazy about posting.
I will post some stuff next week.
Thanks everyone for the kind words. It was a blast to build and paint...Just glad it's finished.
