The cuff is ready - including the buttons!

Then I took the bouquet with the left hand, washed, primed and then mounted it with two-component glue.

The pin cast on the hand means that pinning is unnecessary!

    Hi Martin

Cuff looks good and now we are flower arranging

Interesting your painting it in position rather than separate like the arms

Look forward to the botany lesson

Let's take a closer look at the flowers that our hero is holding in his hand ...:

I see five different types ...:

First, there are yellow daffodils ...

... and secondly white daffodils ...:

Then two varieties of carnations, namely red ...

    ... and pink ones ...:

At the very back we can also see purple tulips!

At first I thought, "You will never find the right variety!" because specially grown tulip varieties literally exist in hundreds.

    But I was lucky!

There is a Russian variety of tulips called "Slawa" ("glory").

    And that's it ...:

Now we know what we are dealing with.

However, today I first underpainted the "greenery" with acrylic paints, namely leaves and stems ...:

    Hi Martin

Well that's my flower references sorted ! ......great refs and research on the tulip

.....I wonder if the flowers have any specific meaning in Russia ?

As for the update ....it's great to see a bit of colour on the greenery ...seems to bring all the uniform highs and work all together

Loving this so far ...it can on,y get better and better

    Thanks for sharing

Well, I started to paint the greenery with oil paints ...:

The base color and the first shadows are on it ...:

Now there are two days of drying time, then the lights come - herewith ...

    ... and the shadows ...:

The addition of "light ochre" or "burnt umber" will help to ensure that the green no longer "pops" so much in the end ...
