    EXCELLENT!

One of Verlinden's better figures IMHO, and painted to perfection.

    Jaume,

A really nice figure and I am glad to see you back posting! ;)

What did you use for the leather gloves?

    All the best,

    Joe

Jaume, another beautiful piece from your repertoire. I particularly like the webbing. Looks very much like Max Schmelling.

    Hi Jaume,

Another masterpiece. Like the little addition to the groundwork which bring up the overall presentation much better. Keep it up.

Wonderfully painted and I don't think you could get get a nicer compliment than one from the sculpter :) .
Just out of interest, is it based on Max Schmelling Bill?

Thank you very much guys!

Joe.The leather gloves were painted with Cadmium Maroon 859,adding Orange Brown for lights and black for shade.

Hi Taesung.Yes,finally I've finished all that stuff. :)

Hi Bill. Can't believe it! .For a 1994's work he looks very well.Yes,answer the question.Did you sculpt him thinking on Max Schmelling?

    Hi Bill,

I have always found unfortunate Verlinden's politics of ignoring the name of the sculptor of their figures. It is good to learn you modelled that one!

Several people has found a resemblance with famous former boxer Max Schmeling. Now we will know if it was intentional!

Jaume, I've never seen a Verlinden figure painted so well! That's really nice painting, particularly since I've never seen anything from you in 120mm.

In fact,it's the first 120mm figure I've painted
It has to be part of my incoming Osprey book.In this chapter I'll deal with the painting of faces and clothes thru several s-b-s.
