Wonderful work. I'm working on a similar vignette, using 2 of Model Cellar's figures and 1 from FER, along with Bayardi's hut and accessories. Have to say Mr. Bayardi's hut is fabulous and I'm trying to compose the vignette in a 360 degree format where the drummer boy will be located "inside" the hut. Your work has provided great inspiration. Thank you.
Thanks 'Squiremon'!
Sounds like yours will be really something else! I'm looking forward to seeing it!

Joe,

Really nice paint job. I like what you have done with our figures. It's always satisfying for me to se our figures painted and on display. Keep up the nice work.

Paul
I appreciate that Paul! You provide us with some excellent subjects.

If I may call your attention the initial comments between JasonB and myself,.......hint, hint....

Man, Armands hut corner is nice, but $$$$$$$!
You're absolutely right Jason. I had the figures done for several weeks just sitting there while I pondered how to display them. Then I came across the hut and was likewise taken aback by the $$. I thought the hell with it, I'll just bite the bullet and get it. Saved me a lot of work and it is indeed wonderfully sculpted. I couldn't believe I enjoyed myself painting logs and mud!

Thanks Wayne!

I got the stuff from Maus Werx a few years back at the IPMS convention in Phoenix.

Hi Joe,
Do you still have the product#?........( Sorry, Didn't want to detract from your excellent piece by saying "Man, that's some nice grass" but it fits for what I'm working on and it looks better than what I already have.

No worries Wayne!

Its #MMWM, winter mud, grass, something or other :D

Great work, Joe. Good to see a colour version too. Zeno Mladin did this 'black and white' version last year for World Expo in Chicago. He said he gave the drummer boy the red scarf to contrast the starkness of the vignette. His inspiration came from little girl in the red dress in Schindler's List.
