    Hi all,

Here are some pictures of a Dragon Gen2 figure with a Hornet head. Except for the head, the figure is build straight from the box for an article to appear in Military Modelling.

Paint used so far are acrylics, inks and some tensocrome from Lifecolour. Hands, trousers and boots aren't painted yet.

I love to hear all your comments.

    Greetz,

    Gino

Gino, Nice job. Those Gen 2 figures look really nice. it's amazing how the new technology has raised the bar on injection molded plastic figures.~Gary

Gino - Remarkable! The helmet camo cover is perfect! Looks exactly like the one Richard Widmark wore in his Marine picture - I forget the title. Some really nifty painting - amazing details on that Dragon Gen2 figure!

    All the best,
    Dan

    Hi guys,

Thanks a lot for the nice comments.

Yes Allan, Marijn has influenced my work a lot (which I find a good thing) so my shading and highlighting has changed a bit (I hope for the better).

    Greetz,

    Gino

    Hoi iedereen,

    Vele groetjes,

    Gino

    Sorry, I forgot to translate:

    Hi all,

Because of a heathwave that didn't want to leave Belgium, this one got delayed with a couple of weeks. but finally he's ready. The figure is by Dragon, the barricades and palmplants are by Verlinden. As always I used acrylics and some inks to paint it. Mig pigments and lifecolours Tensocrom was used to weather it. The groundwork is Magic Sculp mixed with Mig pigments.

As always I would love to hear what you think of it.

    Best wishes,

    Gino

    Hi guys,

thanks for the nice comments. In the end I had a great time painting this one and I might be doing some more Dragon Gen2 figures. I hope they will release some more non German WWII subject figure sets. Early war French would be great!

    Best wishes,

    Gino
