The Andrea 90mm figure painted with the Andrea White Set. This figure was really an experiment in the various tones that can be achieved - and a heck of a lot of fun to paint!

A little Burnt Umber from Vallejo - I use this color in every paint mix!

Great work Dave! I've said it before and I'll say it again. These paint sets do not limit the painter nor do they slow one's progression with mixing colors.

Excellent work on this Dave. I have the white set and have used it in the past and it helped a great deal. Thanks for the tip on using the burnt umber

    Excellent job Dave.
Nice variantions and contrast in the whites.
Did you use a matt varnish, or how else did you achieve the very realistic matt finish?

Thanks Adrian, the Andrea White paints are "dead flat" and do not require any matt varnish. I always use all of their dark colors (black, greens, blues) for the same reason. The Vallejo dark colors seem to have a bit of a satin finish when dry - but I tend to use Vallejo for just about everything else.
