So, this guy started as a scrap figure I was using to practice painting the USMC MARPAT pattern for a vignette I was working on. Halfway through, I figured I'd turn him into a real figure rather that throwing him back into the scrap box. Body armor modified with putty, new arms (Tamiya?), mystery head, Tamiya helmet, Tamiya canteens, Dragon boots, Italeri SMAW. Basically a spare/scrap parts figure.
Of course after looking at these 3X pics, I'm sure to go back and fix a few things.

Really cool. I had a few buddies over there around that time so this makes me thinks of them.
