    Hi All,

I've just completed my last figre, because of work and no time, it took more than 4 months to finish it.

Is the US Marine from Soldier, this cast was better than the Ranger, I've posted while ago.

Please let me know what you think, any comments is ore than welcome.

    I hope you like it.

    Ciao

really really nice paint work. I like the sand on the base with the tropical leaf and the very tan flesh. Very nice work.

Exellent finish to this figure i am very impressed with your tanned flesh tones, did you use oils for this ?

You would have to look very hard to find a better version than this one.

    Hi Steve,

I did use oil for skintone, leather, wood and the plant; tamiya smoke and clear blue, printer's ink and oils for metallic parts;acrylics for the rest.

Thanks so much for your compliments.

    Hi Giovanni

Like the tan and worn look of the figure. Beautifully executed all front. Just nice for meeting the HBO's THE PACIFIC

    Keep it up

    Hi Allan,

Thanks so much, I'm glad you appreciate the effort to reproduce a tanned skin.

Spectacular painting! I the the flesh tones are spot on and the uniform has that faded Pasific Theater look.

If I had one critique (and its a minor one at that) I would have made the sand the black vulcanic sand the island was famous for...

    VERY well done!

    Hi Mark,

Thanks for your comments and your critique, I have to admit, I haven't done my homework on the ambient properly this time.

You are not the first one who told me so and I apologise for the mistake, is it that bad? Can I change the title make our rifleman fight somewhere else in the pacific?

    Thanks so much!

Naw it's all good. I actually wouldn't have given it a second thought but the other night I watched WWII in HD and they talked about it quite a bit.

No need to apologize it is a splended work you should be very prowd of!

    Mark
