Urewera Maori Chief 1895

    Hi Guys,I have finished painting my scratch built 54mm figure of a New Zealand Maori Chief from the Urewera.I painted him in Vallejo and Maimeri acrylics.I hope you like him.

    Hello Guys,many thanks for the great feed back on my Maori Chief.Glad you like him.Had heaps of fun making him.Glad you like the punga tree Phil.The green ferns are photo etched ones made by a Kiwi company called Fine Scale.

    Good to see this little fellow finished off, charming portrayal and I particularly like the colouring plus the ground work both offer a realistic view of the subject.
