Here is my biggest sculpting project until now. And I'm working on it for the several months now.
I'm still trying to improve my sculpting skills and have Mike Blanks book always present as a guide. That's also were the idea came from to make a this knights vignette. This will be a small vignette with two Teutonic Knights in a winter setting near lake Peipus. The Knights are defeated and these two knights ran into some enemy forces and are determined to fight their way through. Sofar the story. The horse is a Andrea Iotti sculpture from Art-Girona and the helmets are from Pegaso. The rest is build up from Magic sculp and the chain mail is a mixture from duro and MS. I'm first concentrating on finishing the rider. The chain mail for the legs and lower part of the surcoat are almost done. Next steps are finishing the upper surcoat and chain mail of the arms. Here are some pictures of the different stages.

Marcel this looks very promisng. A field of the hobby i wish to enter some day. Will the rider hold some kind of weapon or he will be pointing with his right am?

Good to see this one posted on here Marcel and great job so far, i am sure once finished and painted by yourself this will end up a stunning vignette.
