Here's the pictures of the completed bust, I've really enjoyed the challenge with this one as it's my first attempt at sculpting a dog and an American helmet, hopefully both to a reasonable level. I made the dog more puppy like by enlargeing the ears, face and body.
Many thanks for looking and I welcome all and any comments .

    Cheers Ken

Oh gee, Ken. I'm late getting in on this one. Last Grand Slam of the year is
on TV. . . my excuse. But you've done a beautiful job. Even the little pooch
    is very good. Well done,

    great little sculpt,

such a pleasure to see the human side of a medic; you have done justice to the original photographers shot, IMO.

The dog looks nice animated, even while being nursed for the photo, and I think you would be hard pressed to capture the expression on his face.

    Bravo!

    Ken,
i am always amazed at how well you capture the essense of a character and this pair is no exception.i must say that WW2 M1 helmets are difficult to sculpt beause of their subtle curves and shape ,maybe a little more work on the helmet perhaps.
    Look forward to its completion
